Breakdown on the route to Türkiye — Trakia motorway and E80
Thousands of cars pass Plovdiv heading for the Turkish border. If you stop on the motorway, the order of actions is different.
Symptoms
- You stopped on the hard shoulder
- Travelling with children and luggage
- You do not speak Bulgarian
- Hundreds of kilometres left to the border
The motorway is the most dangerous place to stop. Pull over as far right as you can, hazard lights, reflective vest, triangle 100 metres back. Everyone leaves the car and waits behind the barrier.
Do not leave the car unattended with luggage inside if you can avoid it.
You are far from home. The answer here is not "we will look at it tomorrow" — the car has to reach a garage and the people have to continue their journey.
How we help: we transport the vehicle on a flatbed to a garage in Plovdiv or to an address you choose. We also have a 6+1 vehicle — when several people are travelling in the car, there is room for them too.
Call as soon as you stop. The earlier you call, the sooner we reach you — the area around Plovdiv and the Trakia motorway is our main zone.
Leave your number — we will call you
If you are in a hurry, calling is fastest. The form is for when you cannot speak.
